On Being a Poser

The one time it's OK to be a poser... 😉

During the 80s, Madonna told us to “strike a pose” but for professional headshots that meant twisting into about 3 canned positions in a photographer’s studio. Enter today’s professional. These days poses coincide with location, mood, wardrobe and various lighting options. Headshots communicate far more than a pretty face; they give clients a sense of company culture, attitude, approachability and even price point. Essentially, headshots support your over all brand. Madonna gave us good advice; posing is important. But don’t stop there. Work with a photographer to carefully plan a session that considers all the visual direction of your brand. 📸 Trust us, you’ll be glad you did! — @carriebarroninteriors for @hellostoryco
